Breaking News reads Google Alert emails, retrieves the linked articles, evaluates their relevance to configured customers, and sends a concise, source-cited digest to a private Webex space.

How it works

  1. Reads recent emails sent by Google Alerts using read-only Gmail access.
  2. Retrieves and analyzes linked public news articles.
  3. Uses OpenAI to classify, filter, and summarize relevant developments.
  4. Posts the resulting digest to the operator's Cisco Webex space.

Limited access

This is a private, single-operator application. It does not send email, modify Gmail data, sell user information, or use data for advertising.
